we were there for 5 days, everything was nice, truly enjoyed its absolutely perfect and marvellous location so close to mindelo bay.

I keep coming back for a reason. They're so helpful, even gave me a taxi number. This place suits me perfectly with Wi-Fi, free parking, luggage storage, and paid airport shuttle. No pets or smoking. Already booked my stay for Christmas. Can't wait!

Everything there was nice and the staff were welcoming and pleasant. The room met every demand, it was clean with fantastic view and shared bathroom, for instance. Location: the hotel was just next door to center, Mindelo and the bay and the port. Stayed for 3 days and did not want to leave, I would absolutely stay here again.

I got great value for my money at Vannilla Residencial. The room was clean and spacious, with a beautiful view from the balcony. The staff treated me like family, they were friendly and went out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed.

vannilla residencial was a wonderful stay! katleen, the host, was incredibly helpful and welcoming. she went above and beyond to assist with ferry tickets, cooked us a delicious lunch, and even let us borrow her laptop. the balcony view was stunning and breakfast there was a relaxing start to each day.

one small inconvenience - bathroom lights were located outside the bathroom.

Had an awesome 5-night stay here! This place is in a killer location, super close to the bay, beach, and town center. Plus, it's up on a hill so you get great views 👌.

Our stay at this incredible hilltop hotel was mind-blowing! The view from the balcony was jaw-dropping, allowing us to see the entire city. The breakfast was super delicious and served even at 5.45 am to accommodate our early flight. The staff was extremely pleasant and went above and beyond to assist us. The room was spacious and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The facilities were clean and the hotel even offered free wi-fi, convenient luggage storage, and a paid airport shuttle. We also appreciated that the hotel is non-smoking and does not allow pets. our experience was simply amazing and we are so grateful for everything!

The breakfast was so delicious, I ate enough to fill up for the entire day! The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, always going above and beyond. And the location, oh boy, the view from the balcony was absolutely breathtaking! Cons: Who needs a nice view when you have to walk uphill for 10-15 minutes? Hilarious.

I had a fantastic week at a small family-run hotel in Mindelo. The breakfast was delicious and gave us plenty of energy for our hikes. The room was spacious and the neighborhood was quiet. I loved being able to cook in the kitchen and enjoy the pleasant terrace and view. Kathy was always available for information and very friendly.

I highly recommend this hotel.

Great view, especially during sunrise and sunset. Delicious breakfast served with a smile. Comfy beds, clean rooms. Helpful staff provided advice and helped with scooter rental. Can't wait to return!

I had a wonderful stay at a charming guesthouse with a amazing view. The owner, Katy, was friendly and were great too make my stay nice. The homemade breakfast on the balcony was a good start to each day. Although there were a few minor inconveniences, such as broken hangers in the bedroom, the overall experience was really good. The location was convenient, with easy access to the city center and the beach. I highly recommend this place for its value for money and the warm hospitality of Katy. I'll definitely be recommending this gem of a guesthouse.
